OLX Group Academy program

I was Product Designer Trainee part of the OLX Group Academy program for 6 months, where I was part of the Product Design & Research team on the Motors Vertical, which is responsible for brands such as Otomoto (Poland) and Standvirtual (Portugal).

Highlights

  • Part of the team

I've worked together with senior designers and a variety of Stakeholders, Researches, to Product Managers and Data Analysts of several nacionalities. Besides that, I've attended to business and design workshops and and I've actively participated in the critique sessions and project presentations.

  • Soft Skills

I've developed leadership skills, presentation skills, english communication, business driven decisions and user driven solutions.

  • Nexus Design System

I've mapped all of the usage of the OLX’s Design System (Nexus) on our Motors platform, reviewing components, suggesting updates, and participating in weekly critique meetings with the Design System Team.

  • Money Back project

I was responsible for an end-to-end design with new solutions to improve the experience of my ads page driven by both a business goal and customer needs. I went deep in the business needs, elaborating lo-fi wireframes to hi-fi mockups, and testing with real users to validate and measure the impact of our solutions. At the end I've presented the proposal and the prototype for all Motors Design Team.
